Tyler Daugherty is a passionate filmmaker and full-time student currently honing his craft at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida. Originally from Dothan, Alabama, Tyler's love for stories and film began in childhood, where he and his brothers made movies in their backyard. Moving to Florida in 2022 to pursue a degree in digital media, he and his team achieved recognition in 2023 by winning the award of excellence in the BEA Film 48 Competition. Inspired by classic horror films like "The Thing," "Evil Dead 2," and "Alien," Daugherty aims to blend the unique culture and identity of the South with the creative storytelling and thrilling atmosphere of 70s and 80s horror, to create films that audiences leave wanting more..
